For his in-home office, the patron wanted to be to Provence.  This faux fireplace, the weathered wood and stark seams of a painted ceiling, and rough-hewn box beams were part of the whimsey.  Al was primarily responsible for the design and much of the construction.  Ashton shouldered the bulk of the construction.  Al completed the oil painting of a family-history site as part of the commission.
