Elspeth's oil painting and Ashton's custom frame featured in LDS Newsroom video

By Al R. Young Elspeth's original oil painting is presently unavailable for viewing online because it and its copyright are exclusive to LDS Temples.

The original oil painting, entitled The Covenant of Peace and completed in 2016, was painted by the artist in the studios at BenHaven.  The completed oil painting was subsequently acquired by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for use in LDS temples, and the Church also acquired all copy rights pertaining to the artwork... All artworks in the Temple Fine Art Collection have been acquired by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for presentation in temples constructed and maintained by the Church.  Because "Latter-day Saint temples are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world,"   (see Temples at mormonnewsroom.org) the Church acquires not only the original paintings produced for presentation in its temples, but all copyrights to the artworks as well...
