Fort McDowell wharf, no. 5 (BenHaven archives reference no.: 4.14.0080) This photograph appears to be an enlargement of the kind of photographs Alfred R. Young took and sent to his parents while at Fort McDowell in the summer of 1939. The original is missing, but this copy was among the collection of photographs Alfred took of Fort McDowell. The men in the photograph are probably boarding the ferry to San Francisco.
